Janet Flowers founded Herts Healing over seven years ago and has established a professional practice offering complementary therapies to suit everyone.

Although Janet has recently moved to Rushden over three years ago, she also still practises in the Hatfield/Welwyn area on specific days of the week.

Recently Janet has run a number of 10 week complementary therapy workshops for Age Concern and has given talks on therapies to various organisations. She has run LIDD and bite size training and is a part time therapy tutor for the Northants County Council and Oaklands College, training the NCFE course for Aromatherapy and ITEC in Indian Head Massage course and a number of introductory courses in different therapies.

Janet is also a member of the Complementary Therapists Association, the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Small Businesses and has been a member of the Welwyn and Hatfield Complementary Practioners Group.

Shortly after moving to Northamptonshire, Janet set up the Shires Group of Holistic Practitioners to raise awareness of therapies and their benefits in the area as well as give a means of support to other therapists (www.shiresholistics.co.uk).

She is also a mentor for the University of Northampton for start-up businesses and has worked with a number of therapists to help them begin their businesses.

Janet gives presentations on Stress in the Workplace which she delivers to various companies to raise awareness of stress and its effects on the employees and employers.
